Candidating a New Youth Pastor

This Sunday, Youth Pastor candidate, Mikayla Doerksen will share her testimony and vision for ministry at McIvor and respond to questions. Following the worship service, the congregation will participate in a ballot vote on the motion to affirm Mikayla in the role of Youth Pastor.

Here’s how you can participate in this vote:

  • Onsite attendees: You will receive a paper ballot as you enter the service on Sunday. These will be collected at the end of the service.
  • Online attendees: The service will be live-streamed on our YouTube channel, including Mikayla’s sharing. You can vote by completing the following simple survey no later than 11:11 AM this Sunday:

Coffee & Community

Each Wednesday evening, 7:00-9:00 PM, in September and October, we want to make space for community connections to occur in a safe, yet deeply meaningful way. Come be a part of different small groups gathering at McIvor Church as spaces for sharing, conversation, support and prayer. See full details here:

Posture Shift event – Dates changed to September 28, 29. Cost: $99

Our provincial conference of churches (MBCM) is hosting this event which focuses on enhancing inclusion and relational care of LGBT+ persons. Living Bible Explorers – Miranda Lohvinenko

Agenda: Lunch will be served, activities for kids, worship, Gospel message

Volunteers needed:

Food Prep, Servers, Bus drivers, Van drivers, Face painters, Balloon artists, Supervisors for bouncy castle, Children’s activity leaders/supervisors, Bathroom monitors
