Praying

At McIvor we believe that prayer is at the centre of our walk with God. When we pray we are asking God to help us see ourselves and our world from God's perspective. Prayer is not a time to pull out the list of requests. It is essentially an opportunity to listen and to hear from God, and seek His guidance for life and ministry. The initial posture in prayer is to attentively listen for the voice of God that comes by the Holy Spirit. In prayer we are asking for wisdom to discern how we are to live. It is only then that we will know His good, pleasing and perfect will (Romans 12:1-2).

We invite you to join with us as we pray for God's will to be done here on earth, even as it is in heaven, so that His purposes may be accomplished among us and for His Kingdom to come. Please join us in praying for the leadership and ministries of the McIvor Church community ?that Jesus would be revealed through our life together, and that our ministries would clearly communicate the One who gives us life, forgiveness and hope for the future.
